Rental Terms and Conditions

Rental Agreement (UK)

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Shenena Sethi Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 10581979 and the customer placing an order ("you", "your", "Renter").

By completing a rental order with Shenena Sethi Ltd, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Rental Items This Agreement applies to all Indian wear and accessories rented from us, including but not limited to luxury garments, designer pieces, and accompanying items ("Items").

2. Rental Period The minimum rental period is 5 days. A custom rental period may be agreed at the time of booking depending on your needs.

The rental period begins on the day the Items are delivered to you, as confirmed by courier tracking.

The rental period ends on the agreed final day at 11:59 pm (UK time).

Items must be returned on or before the final day of the rental period using the return method provided.

Important: Event date does not affect the rental period.

3. Pricing & Payment You will be charged the stated rental fee plus security deposit, with both combined totalling the retail made to measure item price, of which the difference will be returned to you when the outfit is confirmed as returned in its original condition.

Delivery fees for sending the outfit to the renter and the renter returning the outfit to Shenena Sethi Ltd are covered by Shenena Sethi Ltd with a pre-paid label.

Any applicable taxes. All prices are displayed in GBP (£).

4. Security Deposit & Payment Authorisation You authorise us to place a temporary authorisation or charge a security deposit, and charge your payment method for:

Late return fees of £30 per day per Item; damage or repair costs such as rips and make-up stains; replacement costs for loss or irreparable damage; and any additional cleaning fees.

Any unused portion of a deposit will be released or refunded following inspection.

5. Use & Care of Items You agree that you will use the Items with reasonable care and keep Items secure at all times within the garment zip bag provided by Shenena Sethi Ltd.

You must not alter, tailor, pin, tape, or modify Items; wash, dry clean, or attempt any cleaning; apply perfumes, oils, fake tan, adhesives, or heavy makeup directly onto Items; or allow Items to be exposed to smoke, water, pets, or extreme environments.

6. Cleaning Professional cleaning is included in your rental. Do not clean Items yourself. Excessive soiling may result in an additional cleaning fee.

7. Damage, Loss & Theft You are responsible for Items from delivery until they are safely received by us.

Normal wear includes minor signs of use such as small loose threads or light fabric creasing. Damage includes (but is not limited to): stains, tears, burns, odours, missing components, and irreversible alterations.

You will be charged repair costs where possible, or the full replacement value (the made to measure retail price of the particular product) where repair is not possible. Lost or stolen Items will be charged at full replacement value.

8. Late Returns Late returns are charged at £30 per day, per Item.

Failure to return Items within 7 days of the due date may be treated as loss and will be charged at full replacement value.

9. Returns & Shipping Items must be returned using the provided return method. You remain responsible for Items until they are received and signed for by us. Delays caused by incorrect packaging or failure to follow return instructions remain your responsibility.

10. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations made more than 10 days before dispatch may be eligible for a refund, excluding a non-refundable fee of £50. Cancellations after dispatch are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel a rental and issue a refund if an Item becomes unavailable.

11. Fit & Condition We do not guarantee fit. Measurements are provided on the product page of each outfit — please check these carefully before ordering. Luxury Items may show minor imperfections consistent with careful use. You accept the Item as-is upon delivery.

12. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for personal injury, allergic reactions, or losses arising from use of the Items. Our liability is limited to the rental amount paid.

13. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use or possession of the Items.

14. Privacy & Data Protection We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

16. Acceptance of Agreement By placing an order (making payment), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Rental Agreement.
